We recently teamed up with Manto Films and really enjoyed it. Here’s why our first co-production on a last-minute project was so much fun.
No media production company worth their salt is a stranger to last-minute projects! The brief? Deliver 3D animation in less than 48 hours!
Manto’s enquiry came through to Distant Future Animation Studio at just before 4PM on a Wednesday. And it had to be included in their video edit by close of play on the Friday.
On this occasion, the job landed in the lap of our Managing Director, Bill Beaumont, who had literally only just returned from Tokyo.
Rather than fall victim to jet lag, he got stuck in, taking the CAD drawings from Manto as a starting point.
They were then imported into Distant Future’s in-house software before being prepared for animation.
The next stage was the artwork which needed to match the requirements of the client’s brief. The artwork Bill produced included texture and light effects to make a wall look more realistic, before final rendering and delivering in HD on Friday morning!
Distant Future Animation Studio doesn’t just help companies with longer-term 2D and 3D animation, but is fast-becoming a go-to studio for production company’s needing clip-on jobs, and quickly!!
Because our team is based in different countries, we work across timelines that exceed the average working day.
Therefore, it doesn’t matter how last-minute the job is.
Or how little time you think you might to find an animator to work with.
Distant Future has the set-up and experience to work to the tightest of deadlines.
